While it takes a master craftsman to make the jewelry, being able to understand what a customer wants is just as important. JB takes the time to talk with a customer in detail about his or her desires for a piece, because they will be wearing it for years to come. Customers even create their own pieces: one woman drew a ring on a cocktail napkin years before meeting JB; he took her design and crafted her dream ring.
Although diamonds are popular, some of the most fascinating jewelry features lesser known gems like andesine, apatite, druzy quartz, and zircon. Distinctive gemstones are an important part of unique pieces. Among the pieces on display at the store is a handcrafted 14k gold pendant with a museum-quality, 7 ½-carat blue zircon surrounded by twelve brilliant, full-cut diamonds. "This stone is exceptional," added JB. "A blue zircon with such brilliance and color is extremely rare in sizes over three carats."
As a showcase of their talents, JB Fine Jewelry will be hosting a Customer Appreciation Weekend August 17th -19th, offering 25% off every item in the store, including custom pieces.
